DEPARTMENT
PALLBEARERS
The
Department supplies pallbearers at funerals within The City
and the "resident counties" .Survivors of recently
deceased members are reminded that a "death notification"
should be made to the Operations Unit (646-610-5580). If interested
in having Department Pallbearers at the funeral so state in
your notification. You may also advise your Funeral Director
of your desire to have Department Pallbearers and he can make
notification to Operations Section OR directly to the Ceremonial
Unit at 212-477-9744.

The
2010 Membership application has been added to the "FORMS"
page. Please note that the State and National Lodges
have raised the dues. Dues are now $35.00. Because
of this increase,
Lodge
317 has eliminated the late fee.

Welcome
to the New York City Transit Police Memorial FOP Lodge #317.
Founded in 1991, we are one of the largest lodges in NY state
with approximately 1,000 members. Since the merge of the NYC
Transit Police with the NYC Police Department and the NYC
Housing Police, we have strived to maintain the pride and
camaraderie felt among the members of the NYC Transit police.
We are dedicated to keeping the supreme sacrifice of the thirteen
NYC Transit Police officers killed in the line of duty alive
in our memories and in our hearts. We also pay tribute to
our members who made the ultimate sacrifice during our nation's
worst tragedy on September 11, 2001.
